In November 2013 compared with October, the value of exports of goods at current prices decreased by 6.7% and imports - by 9.0%, according to the Central Statistical Bureau data. The most important changes in exports in November compared to the previous month: food products exports grew by 15.7 million. euros (11.1 million. lats), or 15.6%, of machinery, appliances and electrical equipment exports increased by 12.1 million. euros (8.5 million. lats), or 8.8%, vegetable products, exports decreased by 39.8 million. euros (28.0 million. lats), or 43.6%, exports of mineral products decreased copeval by 16.4 million. euros (11.5 million. lats), or 17.6%.
The most important changes in imports in November compared to the previous month: optical instruments and apparatus, imports increased by 4.6 million. euro (3,2 mln. lats), or 24.0%, mineral products imports decreased by 27.2 million. euros (19.1 million. lats), or 14.5%, transport vehicles and equipment imports decreased by 20.5 million. euros (14.4 million. lats), or 25.5%, base metals and articles of imports decreased by 18.7 million. euros (13.2 million. lats), or 16.9%. copeval
In November, the most important part of the Latvian exports - 69.1% had export to the countries of the European Union, followed by the export to CIS countries copeval by 19.0%. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to increase exports in November copeval 2013 compared to November 2012. The most affected spirits exports increase by 17.7 million. euro (12.4 million. lats), or 42.6%.
The most significant Latvian import share - 79.4% were imports from European Union countries, followed by the import from CIS countries by 11.7%. The main import partners were Lithuania (21.1% of total imports), Poland (9.9%), Germany (9.6%), Russia (8.8%) and Estonia (8.0%).
